Squash Semi-final

In Semi-finals of Squash men's Single event, India nad Pakistan will face each other in both sami-finals.

Semi-Final 1: Farhan Mahbub (Pakistan) Vs. Gourav Nandrajang (India)
Semi-Final 2: Amir Atlas Khan (Pakistan) Vs. Sandip Jangra (India)


Jangra went down to Aamir Atlas Khan of Pakistan 1-3, while compatriot Nandrajog failed to overcome the challenge from another Pakistani, world number 31 Farhan Mahboob at the Dhaka Club.

Nandrajog was spanked 0-3. Now the bronze medal play-off will be an all-Indian affair, while the Pakistani duo will take on each other for the gold.

Compound teams wins three Bronze medals in World Archery 2013 Youth Championships

Indian Compound Junior Men’s Team Won BRONZE medal after defeating Great Britain by 229-222. Indian team comprise of Rajat CHAUHAN, Jignas CHITTIBOMMA and Sudhakar Kumar PASWAN .  Earlier India lost to Mexico in close fight by 231 – 233. Indian Compound Junior Women’s Team won BRONZE medal after defeating Mexico by 223-214  in bronze medal match. Indian team comprise of Jyothi Surekha VENNAM, Jayalakshmi SARIKONDA and Swati DUDHWAL. 7th South Asian Games - Madras 1995

The scene shifted to Madras in 1995 where the seventh edition of the SAF Games was held from December 18 to 27. A record number of 14 disciplines were included in the games. Silambam and kho kho were the demonstration games. A sum of Rs 240 crore was allotted as budget for the conduct of this mega event. Men's hockey was included for the first time in the SAF games. India once again succeeded in taking a lion's share of the medals. A notable feature of these games was that all the previous records in the men's swimming except the one created in the 1500 metres freestyle event at Dhaka in 1993 by India's J. Abhijit, were shattered and new records were created. All the record breakers were Indians barring Karan Mijanurrehman of Bangladesh who claimed the top honours in the 100 and 200 metres breaststroke events.
